So I’ve been thinking . . . about Star Wars and James Morrison. Oh yeah, the Force Awakens and I can’t wait to see the movie! In the meantime, check this out. It’s freaking brilliant.
And I’ve been obsessing over this guy. I LOVE James Morrison. Like LOVE him. His new album released in Europe and the UK on Oct. 30 and I am patiently waiting for the release here on January 8 (both Elvis’ and my mom’s birthdays, so an auspicious day). He’s got such a soulful voice. Check out one of his new singles “Stay Like This,” which I already love.
I’m waiting for his US tour dates. I really, really want to see him in concert so I may be flying over to Europe to do it. Come hell or high water, I’m going to one of his shows!
I’ve been reading . . . more Christmas books. After December 25, I promise, there will be non-Christmas books!
I’ve been watching . . . White Christmas—my favorite holiday movie of all-time. I watch it every year and have done so for as long as I can remember. Both my parents loved that movie so we watched it as kids. So many good gems in this movie–and witty, funny lines. Pay close attention to the scene where Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye do the “sister” act. They truly look like they are having so much fun and you catch them genuinely laughing.
I’ve been listening to . . . “God Only Knows,” over and over again. One of the most beautiful songs ever! Check out this lovely, fun music video BBC Music did of “God Only Knows” with various artists. Love the diversity of performers and artists. This song is already a masterpiece as is; it would be hard to re-do it, but BBC Music’s version is a genuine tribute. Brings a big smile to my face and tears to my eyes, I love it so much! (And if you want to see who all is in the music video, here’s the list.)
