So I’ve been thinking . . . about love. Not romantic love but love in general. Specifically, I’ve been thinking about ways to spread love. How can I infuse love into the world?
I’m not exactly sure how or what I’m going to do but this is what I am thinking about. I’m formulating a plan for ways to spread love into my life and into the world on a daily basis. Stay tuned!
I’ve been reading . . . well, I’ve been reading Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand. It’s that time of year—the time of year from Thanksgiving to Christmas that I forgo all pretense of being a literati and read only Christmas books. All kinds of Christmas books: classics, cheesy, fact-filled, children’s, light, substantial, whatever. Gets me in the holiday spirit!
I’ve been watching . . . Woman in Gold. I’m a Klimt lover, Helen Mirren is an amazing actress, and, yes, I admit it, I have a crush on Ryan Reynolds so watching this movie was a no-brainer for me. It’s a beautiful true story that sheds light on art restitution. While Helen Mirren is incredible and the story is moving and eye opening, the movie falls a little flat for me.
I’ve been listening to . . . “Peace” by O.A.R. It’s a simple yet powerful song. Seems like the best thing to listen to right now given all that is going on in the world. (Thanks to my special niece, G-girl, for introducing the song to me!)
